cryptopromisespromises, checked

About

This site records what crypto projects publicly promised, and what they delivered, with a stored copy of every source.

What it is not

It is not a rating service. It gives no scores, grades, tiers, colours, or picks, and it never will. The rules say so.

How the record is made

Machines capture each project's public pages every day and keep them as web archives with a content hash. When a page's text changes, that goes into a queue. People read the captured pages and write the record: each promise quoted verbatim, with its date at the precision the source gives, its source address, and the snapshot that shows it. Nothing is published from memory or from third-party commentary.

A record drafted from captures but not yet checked by a person says so at the top of its page. That note comes off only when a person has checked every line against its snapshot.

Right of reply

Any project may reply to its record. Replies are published on the same page, in full, unedited.

Corrections

Errors are corrected in the open. The corrections page lists every one, and the front page shows the running count.

Revenue and holdings

The site takes no money from projects: no paid listings, no sponsored entries, no referral links. The people who run it hold no cryptocurrency. The complete record on every project is free. If paid features are ever added they will cover volume and workflow, never the record itself.

Price

Price and news are kept apart. Nothing on this site says that an event moved a price.
